In July 2004 Lady Mary Holborow Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall presented the Centre with The Queens Golden Jubilee Award For Voluntary Service by groups in the Community. Auction in aid of Shelterbox In response to the Asian Tsunami the Centre held an auction where £1060 was raised by the local community. All the auctioned items were donated by local businessmen and individuals.	Auctioneer Mr R.
